Introduction

Leighton House Retirement Home was opened in November 1981 and has been established as a Care Home for 36 years. The present owner is Mr S. Paul Rose since 7th November 1988. The company Secretary is Ms Lynne Lee who has worked at Leighton House for the last 22 years. Leighton House is a registered Care Home and offers residential care for up to 30 residents. Residents

We care for up to 30 residents. Typically their disabilities may include: • Heart/lung/COPD disease • Lack of mobility • Loss of limb/disability • Hearing loss and/or sight loss • Stroke perhaps with paralysis or loss of speech • Incontinence • Dementia • Parkinson’s disease • Arthritis and/or osteoporosis • Frail elderly • Diabetes Whatever their needs, all residents are offered 24 hour care with a  carer to assist them with their activities of daily living, for example meals and drinks, medication, laundry, bathing, exercise, sleep, socialisation etc. We will do our very best to care for your loved one. We want our residents to be happy, to get the best care we can give them. We are a family business and we have some wonderful staff that have been with us many years that love the people they serve.
